Graphics

Once, in the city of Bruges, I watched the work of the lacemakers. The delicate napkins and collars looked stunningly beautiful against the backdrop of the women's dark clothes. I thought then that an artist could create a similar miracle by drawing with a quill pen on paper. I decided to try this out, and began a series of graphic illustrations to Isaac Bashevis Singer's stories and the Passover Haggadah. I greatly enjoyed using graphical techniques to deal with the challenge of creating a single monolithic whole out of all the objects being depicted on one sheet.

The experiments are still ongoing.
